REQUIREMENTS:

1. Required to have thorough knowledge of sales and mechanics with applicable physical capabilities to perform equipment demonstrations, equipment repairs and travel as required.

2. Bachelor’s degree of engineering or equivalent experience is required

3. Valid driver’s license with the appropriate clarification to meet the duties of the position.

4. Employee must maintain an insurable driving record.

5. Physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise.

6. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties

7. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, Good written and spoken English is preferred.

8. Proficient in the use of MS Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

9. Experienced with effective Presentation skills to both individuals and large groups

10. 3+ years in the Pavement Maintenance Industry or 5+ years in related industry role is required

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for sales, training, demonstrations and service to regional distribution and factory direct accounts under the direction of the General Manager.

2. Demonstrate ability to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations by maintaining and developing working relationship.

3. Demonstrate good problem solving skills and the ability to discuss business issues and propose appropriate solutions.
4. Responsible to increase the sales and profitability of all Crafco products and brands working with distributors, government agencies, airports, consulting engineers, contractors and prospecting new customers and markets.

5. Operate in a safe manner in accordance with company policy.

6. Maintain a presentable (tidy) appearance of all company property and personally.

7. Understand and administer customer service, in accordance with company policy, in a mutually beneficial manner, to ensure lasting goodwill between the customer and the company.

8. Develops and maintains distribution in territories currently without adequate distribution; monitors and supports current distribution for growth.

9. Seek new uses and applications for company products with present and prospective customers.

10. Responsible for all products manufactured by Crafco, Inc. including but not limited to; asphalt based sealants, silicone sealant, patching materials, marker adhesive, joint adhesive, equipment, replacement parts, related items and other products as added to the product line.

11. Assume the obligations of good citizenship and participate in worthwhile community activities as a public relations asset to the company.

SPECIAL DUTIES:
1. Maintain sales and profit levels at or above projected goals.

2. Control expenses at or below budgeted projections.

3. Required to travel throughout China.

4. Acquire, maintain and continually update a through knowledge and understanding of all products manufactured by Crafco, Inc. and industries related to Crafco’s business.

5. Maintain a through knowledge of competition and competitive products and market pricing.

6. Maintain contact with all Crafco customers within the geographic region of responsibility with frequent visits and/or telephone contact as required to satisfy the customers’ needs and Crafco’s sales goals.

7. Periodically visits customer and end use customers to hold sales meetings, educate distributors and update them on CRAFCO’s current product lines.

8. Train and demonstrate to educate customers and distributors on all products manufactured by Crafco. IE: Product Training Seminars, Public Forum Presentations, Equipment Start-ups, New Product Introductions, Test Installations.

9. Work and cooperate with other Crafco sales and service personnel when needed to promote all brands manufactured by Crafco and transfer equipment between locations as needed.

10. Maintain a professional and cooperative working relationship with all departments.

11. Sales People that do not have an office at a Crafco facility shall maintain a workspace within their residence adequate to accommodate office activities.

12. Complete required paperwork: weekly expense reports, quote sheets on all pricing, bid tabulation records on all bids, competitive pricing information on all quotes, daily call reports and monthly sales reports.

13. A calendar of scheduled meeting and activities will be maintained in Outlook. Details of all posted meetings will include contact information and an objective for the meeting. Planning and scheduling is a key to success. Calendars should be scheduled 45 days out.

14. Maintain a data base of all contacts in Outlook. Contact information should contain all contact information; Phone, Fax, Email, Address… This data base should be kept up to date at all times.

15. A cell phone and/or a laptop computer are provided for business use only. Personal use should be kept to a minimum.

16. Be competent to properly and effectively operate all IT devices provided.

17. Be competent to make travel arrangements in an organized and fiscally responsible manner including; hotel, air travel, car rental etc.

18. Maintain a personal credit card with a minimum available credit of $5000 for use on business expenses prior to reimbursement.

19. Be available to travel and perform duties during daytime, evenings, nights and weekends as required to perform the job. 50% overnight travel may be expected.

20. Take active part in Trade Associations, Agency Associations and other industry related groups as necessary to promote Crafco products as directed by your supervisor.

21. Attend Crafco Schools and sales meetings as required. May require travel to the US for this.

22. Be familiar with and abide by all the items set forth in the Crafco Employee Handbook
